Job Summary
The Documentation Specialist II FF&L is responsible for independently reviewing and preparing of lease and loan documentation in accordance with internal policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely closing. This mid-level role works directly with clients and internal partners to support the overall operational efficiency and quality of the department for excellence.Hourly Pay Range: $21.09 - $26.89 - $32.70
Job Responsibilities:
• Document Preparation & Compliance Review: Independently draft and review documentation in accordance with policies and applicable regulations.
• Client Coordination: Act as a secondary point of contact for clients during transaction closings, coordinating with legal and internal stakeholders.
• Data & System Accuracy: Ensure accurate data entry into booking/funding systems and resolve discrepancies.
• Mentorship & Training: Support training and provide guidance to entry-level documentation specialists.
• Industry Knowledge & Process Improvement: Stay current on regulatory updates and propose process improvements where applicable.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent Minimum experience required: 7+ Years in banking, leasing, or financial services with 3+ years of documentation experienceDemonstrated ability to interpret legal and financial documentationProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience in public funding or municipal financeFamiliarity with industry-specific documentation softwareJob Competencies:
