Position Overview:
Within the Product Execution Group in Stanley Black & Decker we are currently looking for a Packaging Documentation Specialist to join our Taiwan Global Lead Design Center in Taichung, Taiwan. Our team focuses on Hand Tools & Storage product categories under the DEWALT®, CRAFTSMAN®, STANLEY® and other brands, just to name a few. As a Documentation Specialist with Stanley Black & Decker you’ll have an opportunity to work with a global team of talented graphic designers, packaging engineers and PLM reinforcement team. You will support our ongoing efforts to deliver products that help people to build and repair the world we live in.
The Documentation Specialist will be responsible for leading the packaging documents approval process in Windchill while supporting the development of packaging projects with an understanding of time management and a sensitivity to priorities.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive successful attainment of company goals with thoughtful well-rounded solutions. Ideal candidates should have strong data organization and storage knowledge, multi-tasking ability as well as the ability of prioritizing tasks to meet business requirements and deadlines. Have good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and problem-solving suggestions effectively.
Major Responsibilities:
Initiate Change Notice (CN) in Windchill PLM for Packaging New Design / Modification, Tariff Mitigation and Footprint Optimization projects.Assign packaging component numbers and build associated packaging bill of material (BOM) structure in Windchill system in a timely manner. Assist group in maintaining CN schedule and providing status updates on a weekly basis.Position Requirements:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in information management or related field.Basic analytical experienceData organization and storage knowledgeOutstanding organizational skills.Multitasking ability and attention to detail.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Able to prioritize responsibilities and adhere to deadlines.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience in documentation repositories such as Windchill.Basic sense with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and DPA (Digital Process Automation) is a plus.Experience with operating the 3DEXPERIENCE PLM system is a plus.We Don’t Just Build The World, We Build Innovative Technology Too.
