Documentation Leader - SERVICES, India
Technical communication and publication of technical documents of our offers (catalogues, technical guides, application guide, user, guide…) is going to experience a deep change thanks to the digitization.
As part of the Technical Communication team, you will be based in india – Bangalore and will be in charge of providing documents for Schneider Electric-Energy Management Secure Power and Services Line of Business which are mainly\:
· Standard assets\: Instruction sheets, User guides, Installation guides, Quick Start Guides, Catalogs
· Dedicated assets\: Service Bulletins, Methods of Procedure, RAMS, Statement of Work, Know Event, Newsletters
· Digital assets\: 3D pictures, 3D CADs, technical videos for several support (web, mobile devices,)
You will synchronize with project teams to define the scope of documents to deliver. Then, together with LoB marketing and Engineering, you will propose the structure and content of the document and you will manage external vendors for the design of each asset. This position will supervise activities on a worldwide scale, managing a portfolio of Schneider Electric offers and components.

Responsibilities
1. Technical Documentation Management\:
· Define and structure technical documentation in coordination with main stakeholders (Marketing, Engineering, Launch, etc.).
· Prepare and compose technical information.
· Format technical documents such as SBs, MoP, RAMS, etc., in accordance with internal project templates.
· Structure procedures based on user criteria.
· Create technical documentation for Schneider Electric offers\: catalogs, solution guides, technical guides, user manuals, etc.
2. Technical Assets Management\:
· Define and update technical assets (text, illustration, 3D pictures, etc.).
· Upload technical assets in Schneider databases.
· Ensure the quality and availability of deliverables.
3. Process Improvement\:
· Investigate and propose new technologies and tools to speed up the deployment of digital technical communications.
· Develop checklists associated with various offers\: Pre-contact, Start-up, PMV, PXC EICE.
· Create service procedures for the assembly and configuration of marketed solutions for Schneider.
4. Team and Contractor Management\:
· Serve as part of the dedicated TechCom team for Services.
· Manage contractors to provide technical documentation in sync with budget and schedule commitments.
· Ensure consistent management of Technical Publications across various squads.
5. Quality Control\:
· Conduct linguistic and literature reviews of various technical documents\: preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, pre-commissioning.
· Correct errors while delivering supports in the same format as the original document.
6. Communication\:
· Write, format, and distribute newsletters.

· Technical skills or understanding in electrical distribution (electrical, mechanical, digital)
· Proven experience and knowledge of Schneider Electric offers and components
· Strong skills in verbal and written communication
