The Role
We are looking for a Document Control Technician I who will provide clerical support to the medical claims processing unit.
What You’ll Do
At At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to the primary responsibilities of the role. The priorities associated with this role are:
Responsible for properly tracking incoming/outgoing claims packages and for the final preparation of claims packages for delivery to the client.Opens and date stamps incoming medical bills and documentation.Batches date-stamped bills for data entry.Data enters relevant claimant level information into the system.Scans paper documents into the systemObtains missing claimant level information as appropriate.Photocopies reports, matches delivery for each completed package.Assembles printed audit reports with matching medical bills for return to client. Prepares all mailing labels and packaging for delivery to the client. Some phone answering, some data entry of medical bills, WC-1, and claim information into the IMPACT medical bill audit system.What You’ll Bring
Prefer two or more years of proven competence in the clerical field.Candidates must demonstrate keen attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Position requires keen ability to perform multiple tasks under very tight deadlines.Claims must be logged in within 24 hours of the date of receipt.Claims must be prepared for delivery within contractual time frames.Failure to perform essential job functions efficiently and accurately creates delay in other related claims processing functions within the unit which could ultimately result in untimely product delivery and the loss of clients.Requires 50 wpm and 90% accuracy in data entry/typing.Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in policies and procedures, as business needs dictate.Ability to sit for multiple hours at a time and to work multiple hours a day at a computer keyboard.Ability to remain alert and focused during the workday.All other related and/or additional responsibilities that may be required or assigned.It is impossible to list every requirement for, or responsibility of, any position.
