Are you ready to join a growing team? CTG is seeking to fill a Document Custodian Reviewer opening for our client in Buffalo, NY. Location: Buffalo, NY Duration: 3 months Overview: The Document Custodian Reviewer will support the review and validation of Institutional client documentation, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with custodial agreements and agency guidelines. This entry-level role plays a vital part in maintaining the integrity of document tracking and storage systems. Primary Responsibilities: • Perform basic data matching of client documents using custodial or agency criteria • Compare document data to records in the Document Custody tracking system • Identify original documents versus copies and update the system accordingly • Record exceptions found during document reviews in the tracking system • Follow established procedures and review criteria with attention to detail • Escalate risk-related issues to management as appropriate • Support a diverse and inclusive work environment aligned with the M&T Bank brand • Maintain internal control standards and support audit and regulatory compliance • Carry out additional duties as assigned Scope of Responsibilities: • Document handling, data validation, exception reporting, and tracking • Routine communication with team members for clarification or escalation of issues • Ensure compliance with risk, regulatory, and internal control policies Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities Education and Experience Required: • Associate degree • OR a combined minimum of 2 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience • Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Good alphanumeric and organizational skills • High attention to detail Education and Experience Preferred: • Ability to maintain accuracy while working under time constraints Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift 30–50 pounds • Ability to climb ladders or stools and bend for filing • Ability to stand for extended periods Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
