Document Control Technician, Staff
Our Middleburg Heights, OH quality team is growing! We are looking to add a Document Control Specialist to join our first shift team. You will assist with a multitude of tasks to ensure all records and databases are complete, accurate, and up to date. You will also be apart of spearheading a large data merge between business unit software systems and manual records. You will be responsible for reviewing test data, updating logs, and generating and distributing monthly metrics. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to handle; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Your Challenge:
Scan documents and develop an effective way to index, scan, name, and backup records using various professional scanners.
Perform ERP software change verification- this may include generating test data, printing sample labels, running and checking reports, etc. Communicate effectively with IT.
Review document database and compare it to electronic records. Create a way to document gap analysis and fill in gaps when they exist.
Understand all processes that generate records in order to identify historical documents and determine if they are stored per procedure. Index, scan as necessary.
Assist with the development of test plans for new quality software.
Assist in various projects involving business consolidation that may include merging electronic databases, entering data into a database, creating databases, etc.
What You Bring:
High School Degree or GED required.
Experience with following rigid, documented procedures.
Document Control experience highly desired.
Strong computer skills required. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Experience in SharePoint or other data management system.
Experience navigating or developing an ERP/WMS system, preferred
Previous work in a regulated industry or for a government agency, preferred
