Document Control Specialist
**Job Overview:** The Document Control Specialist applies their conceptual knowledge of Document Control and, with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward Document Control problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Document Control Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** + Assist the Lead Document Management lead in completing the day-to-day project activities + Gain experience in the following work area: iDocs + Develop basic technical skills to complete assigned work + Become familiar with technical aspects of the Contract and Project Team Requirements pertaining to Document Management and project delivery requirements (standards, procedures, EDMS, formats, etc.) + Facilitate and expedite the timely flow of technical information amongst project team members and external parties, such as the Client and Suppliers, via the EDMS + Accurately track, log, and distribute releases of both internal and external documentation, including related metadata + Provide input in preparing Document Management status reports + Assist in the establishment, maintenance, development, and improvement of Document Management processes, systems, and tools + Participate in internal and external audits as required + Ensure active and frequent engagement with MOPEX counterpart/s for the project + Deliver information required for handover and turnover in accordance with project contractual requirements + Archive project records Reports to: Project: Lead Document Management Functional: Department Manager Liaise With: Lead Document Management, Project Engineer, Project Manager, Department Manager **Essential Qualifications and Education:** + Professional Degree / Post Graduate Degree/Bachelor’s Degree + Minimum Twenty (20) years of experience in Information Management. Strong knowledge of document control processes and EDMS. + Minimum Ten (10) years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. + Good knowledge of Electronic Database Management System (EDMS) software, MS Office, and Adobe + Computer literate in Microsoft programs: Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Project + Working knowledge of industry-utilized EDMS tools + Have wide experience with technical activities, including onshore and offshore operations + Some functional, business, and industry expertise + Ability to work as a team member + Excellent organizational and time management skills + Detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to handle multiple priorities \#LI-RA2 Our ingenuity fuels daily life.
