Job Description
Document Control Specialist is responsible for technical documentation releases to product data management (PDM) and manufacturing systems. Maintain revision control of all related information and work with engineering, marketing, quality, and operations to author, correct, and cost-effective engineering change requests.
You will report into product development the product development team regarding purchase orders, prototype material inventory, and fixed asset tracking
Your Responsibilities:
Understand the relationships of the product documentation libraries and manufacturing systems to assure the correctness and completeness of engineering changes.Assist engineering in the creation and maintenance of documentation in the PDM system.Directly responsible for vaulting data in the PDM system and assuring the correctness of this data and associated product structure.Process purchase orders for the engineering teams.Develop working relationships across Rockwell Automation.Team contributor in the area of Product Development.Help solve customer problems, operating together with the assigned engineer.Ensure familiarity with procedures relating to standards of business conduct, and trains and motivate team members in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such procedures.The Essentials - You Will Have:
Author engineering change notices (ECN) from drawing mark-ups and input from engineering.Update and load documentation to the system based on feedback from engineering.With the necessary technical resources to ensure design change or documentation is understood and correctly implemented.Demonstrated organizational to convey status updates, issues.Good command in English (min. B2 level)Proficiency with Ms Office and Excel.The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
