Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Document Control & PDM Admin located in Fontana, CA.

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, the Document Control & PDM Admin role involves the administration and maintenance of the SolidWorks PDM Vault, as well as serving as a backup to document control related activities.

What a typical day looks like:

Administer, configure, and maintain the SolidWorks PDM Vault (Professional or Standard), including SQL Server backend, archive server, and local client views Oversee ECO/ECR routing, drawing/document reviews, and ensure documents follow release and lifecycle protocols consistently Act as key point of contact for user issues; provide hands‑on PDM and CAD support in a regulated environment Develop and deliver training and user documentation (including guides on workflows, permissions best practices, and templates) Continually audit usage and compliance; perform regular checks to identify gaps or inefficiencies Catalog and distribute engineering documents to usersObsolete all previous document revisions in operations and archive obsolete project documentsCreate operation & maintenance manuals for completed projectsAssist engineers with administrative tasks including submittal packets, owner manuals, etc.Maintain project revision log for document releasesPerform other related duties as assigned

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.Previous experience in maintaining and distributing engineering documents.Experience working in an ISO 9001 organization a plusPrevious experience working in an engineering firm a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Solid verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAble to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyAble to work independently to meet deadlines
