Job DescriptionThe RF Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment in a high-volume power tool distribution environment. This role operates a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipped with a Radio Frequency (RF) scanning device to fulfill orders to specification. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding, fast-paced warehouse setting.
Key Responsibilities
Operate PIT (Joey, Walkie Rider, or similar) to accurately pick and transport inventory using an RF scanner
Print and apply labels to outbound product for shipment validation and tracking
Stack product on pallets securely and wrap for shipment to prevent damage in transit
Handle repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. using safe lifting techniques
Follow established picking routes and meet productivity and accuracy targets
Wear required PPE and follow all facility safety standards, including harness use when operating at heights
Participate in job-specific training, team huddles, and continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all company policies and procedures, including attendance, conduct, and quality expectations
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Prior warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred but not required
Experience operating PIT equipment is a plus (Joey, Walkie Rider); training provided if needed
Skills & Abilities
Basic math and reading comprehension; must pass warehouse skills assessment
Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and operational instructions

Willingness to wear PPE and safety harnessesAbility to work in a team environment and take directionFlexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed based on business demandMust be comfortable working at heights (up to 20 feet) and standing for 8+ hours per shift
Able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs regularly
Must meet attendance, safety, and productivity standards

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $19.87-$23.66 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
