The Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis seeks a Dock Coordinator to join our talented team!  Don't miss this unique opportunity to be part of the world's leading luxury hotel company! 

 

The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for the control and safety of all incoming and outgoing deliveries to all parties of the building, assist in physically receiving goods, managing delivery scheduling, process incoming and outgoing packages, assist in internal deliveries, and maintain the integrity of the loading dock. 

Ensure the safety and security of the dock area. Supervise the loading, unloading, and parking for all contractors and vendors. Ensure all employees, vendors, and contractors adhere to loading dock rules, safety requirements and regulations. Report violators to appropriate Department heads 

Coordinate with Security delivery schedules for hotel, residential and retail clients. Manage building access for vendors, contractors and other entities doing business with Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale Hotel & Residences 

Maintain and secure all dock equipment. Ensure proper maintenance and repairs are completed 

Maintain all necessary records including Loading Dock Logs, Daily Checklists, etc. Assist with checking materials received against invoices/packing slips and notes breakage and discrepancies in quantity or quality 

Assist with receiving and scanning courier parcels into package tracking software and coordinate delivery and notification of parcels to specific departments 

Assist with packing, unpacking, count, weigh packages, measure materials, supplies and equipment upon delivery or pickup 

Safely operate forklift, hand trucks, carts, cardboard bailer, and lifting equipment. (Must be Certified) 

Keep storage facilities, loading docks, materials and supplies in a neat and orderly fashion. Facilitate cleaning and maintenance of the dock area. Ensure proper recycling and trash disposal procedures are followed 

Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors 

 

Successful candidates will have: 

Previous warehouse or delivery receiving experience 

The ability to read, write & speak English 

The ability to work outside during extreme cold weather, and summer heat/humidity 

Knowledge of computer systems 

Previous experience and/or current certification with Forklift, hand trucks, manual/electric pallet jacks, and scissor lifts 

Ability to lift to 50lbs and stand majority of the shift 

Effective communication skills
