In this exciting role, you'll be part of our vibrant Export team, an energetic, diverse group who are passionate about sharing our stunning books with readers worldwide.
You will support the sales of DK and Canelo books across the Middle East and Africa excluding South Africa. You will also have the opportunity to assist in expanding sales for the successful Sourcebooks list across Sub-Saharan Africa & Israel. You will contribute to growing our business within these markets and help achieve sales targets. Plus, periodic international travel may be part of the adventure!
Other responsibilities include:
Organising and participating in customer meetings, showcasing our compelling projects both in person, online as well as through your attendance at major international book fairs. Supporting the forecasting and exceeding of sales targets, actively contributing to our Global Export strategy and ambitious International growth plans. Negotiating discounts and arranging promotions with customers across your territory Managing customer orders and queries, troubleshooting delivery issues with precision and teamwork Keeping up to date on area opportunities through market research and engaging new customers.
Our ideal Sales Executive will have strong commercial awareness, a keen eye for identifying new opportunities and driving increased sales across the region. Enthusiasm for engaging with international cultures, undertaking travel across the region and developing book sales is key, along with a desire to expand market reach and boost revenues. Strong communication and presentation skills will be beneficial for pitching to clients and stakeholders. You will possess analytical skills that allow you to interpret market data and contribute to winning strategies, all while showcasing remarkable time-management skills, juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines with ease.
