Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain ultimate responsibility for providing timely and accurate financial information as well as the five-year business plan to the Division President and Region/Corporate, and for ensuring that corporate policies and procedures, as defined in corporate operations manual, are carried outOversee all aspects of the division’s homebuilding operations, with the authority to interact with all departments and to determine if current department policies are efficient and promote the greater well-being of the divisionEnsure that all appropriate division personnel are adequately trained and understand how to utilize the JD Edwards systemEnsure that efficient policies and procedures and the proper internal controls are in placeEnsure the accuracy of the division’s financial reporting processes, namely that the division’s books are prepared and close within the monthly guidelines established by the corporate office, and that the financial statements accurately reflect the division’s operationsEnsure that all potential land deals meet corporate, regional, and division requirementsMonitor development and SB budgets to make sure there is adequate backup to support these amounts and to investigate subsequent changesConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAble to travel overnightEnsure that all personnel understand company philosophy and do not spend money unnecessarilyAnalyze, improve, and implement new policies and procedures that keep up with technology enhancements and more efficient operationsExpected salary range: $150,000 - $170,000
