Your mission, roles and responsibilities


Overall responsibilities and duties: 

The Division CBU & SG&A controlling Director is primarily in charge of managing the CBU controlling, R&D and SG&A controlling activities for the Division, supervising all the related monthly closing, forecast, budget and Strategic plan financial activities. He (she) is the owner with his team of the consolidated financial view per CBU of the past, current and future financial KPI’s of the Division, and is the business partner of the CBU’s for The Division. As part of the Finance management team, he (she) will also supervise the SG&A expenses, and will take part of any financial role per delegation from the Finance VP. 

The main missions of the role are:  

Lead a senior team of CBU controllers, SG&A and program controllersLead and coordinate a team of senior CBU controllers, whose role is to become the true CFO of a CBU, providing any relevant finance support to the CBULead a back office team of program, SG&A and R&D controllers, identify and train new talents that will become operations, programs or CBU controllersDevelop the financial awareness of the management of the Division, providing training, from basic financial to expert levelEnsure all financial related procedures and tools regarding CBU, Program and R&D controlling are implemented and followedDevelop, execute and control internal finance procedures in accordance with Group procedures and policiesEnsure site and program activities are compliant with Faurecia Finance related procedures, and internal control basicsEnsure consistency and standardization of CBU/Program/R&D controlling processes within the BG/divisionParticipate to the definition of IT tools and ERP to improve CBU/Program/R&D controllingAct as a business partner toward the CBU, R&D and SG&A related community, and provide recommandation to the managementProvide accurate reporting of all SG&A costs of the Division, build forecast, budget, Strategic plan, and provide analysis and cost reduction plansPropose to the management action plans resulting from relevant analysis in order to achieve the operational targets (especially regarding program profitability)Supervise with CBU controllers all programn related financials (RFQA, IBP, Budget & Forecasts)Ensure financial awareness of CBU teams, train and suport regarding financial implications of commercial decisionsAlert and arbitrate in case of discrepancies, or any financial risk / opportunity.Analyse and challenge main programs gap to benchmark (BOP costs, Process costs, development costs)Support finance activities of the Division: Provide controlling analysis including variance analysis/standard costs, margin/programs, hourly rates, budgetary control, per CBU and OEMContribute to the forecast, budget and strategic plan build up for the Division, and insure the consistency Operations & CBU views. Provide and manage all necessary information requested by internal and external auditors, or any Group or Business group team (Programs loss to completion, profitability per programs, program dashboard)

 

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Experience:

7 years professional including strong accounting backgroundPlant Controlling experience required in order to lead profitability per CBU/Programs activities accuracySenior Team Management / Business partner profile
