Apply today to our Division Assistant Controller and be a part of the innovation of ideas. **Job Summary and Qualifications** You will assist the Far West Division Controller and Chief Financial Officer in directing and coordinating the financial activities of the Division including accounting, reporting, budgeting, internal control functions and other duties as needed. Other responsibilities include: + Budget, Cost report, Tax Work Papers: Assist in development of annual budget, and Medicare Cost Report and Tax work paper packages + Monthly Financial Closing Process: Perform assigned closing entries, procedures, and reviews + Take lead role in key accounting processes, such as joint ventures, fixed assets, etc. + Participation: Participate in committees or work groups as requested to improve division financial and operational performance + Reconciliation: Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts and make timely corrections + Internal Audit: Assess internal auditing needs, lead and perform audits **What qualifications you will need:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance + Two years healthcare accounting and auditing experience preferred + Experience in mainframe and PC-based reporting systems preferred + Communication skills, personnel management skills, and financial management skills. Must be analytical and objective in judgement. High degree of judgement, logic and complexity involved. Requires the ability to develop working partnerships with all levels of management.
