We are looking for a Rheumatology District Sales Leader who is motivating, inspiring and leading to join our Rheumatology organization for the geography of New York City/Northern and Central New Jersey.

About the role

The District Sales Lead Rheumatology role is responsible for driving demand for assigned product(s) by motivating, inspiring and leading Clinical Account Specialists (CAS) activities within an assigned District.

Who you’ll work with

Builds relationships with all internal/external stakeholders, to establish a known, long-term presence of UCB Immunology and establishes an understanding of the local ecosystems, the payor environment, and medical/pharmacy benefits.

What you’ll do

Delivers consistent, compliant sales results of assigned product(s) by leading and directing the activities of Clinical Account Specialists (CAS)Ensures the execution of company business strategyCoaches and develops a results-oriented team of CASs who influence medical stakeholders’ use of UCB productsEnsures team understands and applies in-depth clinical and business expertise, along with demonstration of effective selling skillsMaintains a thorough understanding of the competitive marketplace and drivers of prescriber decisionsAbility to drive and/or fly to meetings and client sites. Overnight travel of 25-50% may be required

Minimum requirements

Bachelor's degree required3+ years of successful management and/or supervisory experience of a team selling an FDA approved specialty product or device5 years direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device or healthcare industry that has includedResides within assigned geographyValid driver’s license required

Preferred requirements

Marketing, Sales Training, Sales Operations or Market Access experienceCompletion of a professional leadership development programExperience in reimbursement Experience with Injectable/Buy & Bill biologic productsBiologic product launch experienceExperience in calling on Rheumatologists

This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $ 161,000-$212,000per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors
