Management and development of long-standing client relationships, with an intense focus on exceeding client expectations and driving service delivery.Delivering a hands-on approach to service.Developing sales plan and strategy for active and potential pursuits.Delivering value through developing and managing technical projects to solve customer problems.Making the most of every opportunity and being hungry for success.Achieving the territory budget in a timely and efficient manner to achieve divisional goals.Growing the territory through the sale of the company’s products and services.Delivering 100% service coverage for assigned customers in accordance with agreed work plans.Carrying out minor repairs on equipment, as necessary.Assisting with asset management in the field and carry out repairs and maintenance on assets where necessary.Implementing customer pricing policies and guidelines as per division objectives.Maintaining contact with customers to ensure that their needs are being properly understood and addressed.Liaising with customers and internal departments to arrange pricing, invoicing, delivery and special instructions and any other issues to facilitate sales.Managing contract renewal and renegotiation within the guidelines set by the divisionInforming customers of supply and price trends and advise them on inventory control for the company’s products.Monitoring market developments and competitive activity and report in monthly reports.Maintaining up to date knowledge of the company’s new products and programs and equipment.Ensuring site service schedules are updated.Carrying out trials and provide interim reports on the trial work and full reports on completion.Completing customer reviews.Ensuring test kits are maintained with all required reagents and ensure they reflect a professional presentation.Preparing sales proposals for existing customers.Coordinating effectively with other divisions to pursue the company’s Circle the Customer philosophy and actively promote Circle the Customer opportunities.Submitting monthly reports to the District Sales Manager outlining progress against objectives and plans.Referring complaints to customer service for lodgment in the quality system and follow up to ensure corrective action is taken.Providing product and technical support to other Territory Managers and Service Technicians.Key Skills/Qualifications:
Education qualification in a Chemical Engineering, Science, or related discipline.9 - 15 Yrs experience in Water Treatment or Chemical Industry.Sound commercial sales and service experience, with a proven ability to achieve sales targets.Prior experience in the Water Treatment industry, especially in the areas of wastewater, reverse osmosis and/or filtration, is highly advantageous.Relevant tertiary education is considered favorable, but not essential.Strong communication skills with an aptitude to build strong professional relationships with customers in a wide range of capacities.Demonstrated customer focus with a commitment to proving quality and value-added service.Self-motivated with exceptional organization skills and the ability to work independently.An aptitude for hands on work, with a mechanical mindset and the ability to apply strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Possess a willingness to learn through new experiences and opportunities.Possess a willingness and ability to work various hours and travel if required.Passion, drive, and a sense of urgency are critical to your success in this role.A clean and full driver’s license.Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
