POSITION PURPOSE:

District Manager is responsible for delivering building care business plan for South & West regions and will primarily focus on shaping the district strategy for the Prosumer business by acquiring new accounts and managing existing accounts within the district. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

New Business & Key Account Management: 

Creation and implementation of new business development plans for the Prosumer business.Continuously focus on sales growth execution and sales target achievement through new account research and acquisition planning, leveraging sector expertise and market intelligence. Take the lead initiative in developing a rapport with identified key customers/customer group.Through regular key customer contact, evaluate the current and emerging customer needs and assess the effectiveness of the current healthcare business to develop and meet AOP targets.Support key marketing and new product programmes (NPU’s) and gain business at targeted new accounts with pricing margin guidelines.Gain business at targeted new accounts within pricing/margin guidelines.Continually evaluate key competitor activities, analyse effectiveness and prepare defensive strategic ploys. Develop business relationship with key decision makers to further our business interests.Assist in the creation and management of tender presentations and documentation, involving key stakeholders as required. Implement with the team customer training & education training programs 

Managing District:

Plan daily, weekly and annual objectives and activities to maximise customer contact and effectiveness.Effectively Manage the Sales Force Team  to achieve monthly and annual sales target for District Managing and developing distributor network.Continuously focus on sales growth execution and sales target achievement through new account research and acquisition planning, leveraging sector expertise and market intelligence. Take the lead initiative in developing a first class rapport with identified key customers/customer groups in the assigned territory.Continually evaluate key competitor activities, analyse effectiveness and prepare defensive strategic ploys. Develop business relationship with key decision makers to further our business interests.Implement with the team customer training & education training programs for the team

Internal Stakeholder Management: 

Manage effective internal stakeholder relationships and ability to deliver the BSC strategy Work closely with Marketing and Application Specialists to identify and develop relevant value propositions for customers. 

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/PERSON PROFILE

Demonstrated Expertise in Account & Sales Management Demonstrated proven ability to build and nurture customer relationshipsAbility to interpret financial data and budgets Experience using CRM systems, such as SalesforceHave high level of strategic level planning and analytical skillsComfortable working and leading teams in a large organization with a matrix organizational structure

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION/TRAINING

10+ Years of overall Experience in Sales Management in B2B Business profiles from Chemicals, Building Materials, Infrastructure domain.  Strong expertise in Distribution Channel Management  At least 2 years’ experience in Leadership & People Management
