We are looking for District Manager to join our team at Bobcat. Job Information Position Summary: Need to manage the Bobcat – Compact dealer network – for a portion of the French territory. The person is to drive dealers to grow their and our business with clear ideas through day-to-day business relationships. Manage (evaluate, develop, support, drive, shape, consult, report) to support the company’s overall strategy. Work closely with HQ and the dealer network to promote and strengthen the Bobcat brand and products on the territory while aiming at increasing market share. Report market trends, visit few end-customers, attend key fairs, … while ensuing profitability goals are met or exceeded. Role & Responsibility Dealer support: + Be the first response contact for dealer questions in respect to product, sales, and marketing in the daily business. + Support dealer and represent the brands in customer visits when necessary. + Keep close contact to dealers, to generate mutual trust, profitable business, and long-term partnership. Demand planning & market forecasting: + Plan, discuss and agree a marketing plan with the dealers in the region of responsibility and drive its fulfillment. + Monthly forecast the demand for the districts under responsibility and proactively inform the back office about foreseen demand-changes in the market. Network Development: + Capability to figure out possible change in the actual network defining timing and procedure with solid business plan analysis. + Constantly monitor, develop, and evaluate the network’s performance and development, based on the company’s strategy and performance measurement tools. + Initiate and manage network restructuring processes when necessary. Capacity of interpret the market trend: + Good skills in the interpretation of the market trend and capability to figure out basic actions to adapt dealer network results to those identified changes. Knowledge of the market and of the competitor activity. Market appearance: + In collaboration with the back office, organize, run, report, and evaluate brand awareness/reputation forming activities like fairs, road shows, advertising campaigns, press-contacts. + Coordinate proper branding image among facility branding, dealer service vehicles, and alike, while recommending job stories, social media communication, advertisement, etc. Market Intelligence: + Be the back-office’s ear on the market and monitor/report the development of new trends in pricing, communication, products, customer needs and respective sales tools. + Closely watch the situation in competitive distribution networks and try to leverage where possible and advantageous for the brand. Team spirit: + The candidate has to be openminded, team spirit oriented, driven by results and objectives, with proper organizational skills and road map vision. Willing to travel: + The candidate should be willing to travel extensively in the area of responsibility. This is not a responsibility but a characteristic of the position. Team leader: + The candidate needs to know how to drive a mature dealer network as well as a young one in terms of sales, marketing, and forecasting (sales and wholesales) in a medium long-term vision in order to grow them in Market Share penetration and total turnover. Job Requirement + Education & Qualification: Business Administration - University / Engineering - University /Allow Equivalent + Experience: 6~10 years + Travel Standard: 30 ~ 50 % + With min. 4+ years of experience in exclusive dealer network management in the industrial goods sector + Understand B2B activities, needs, and strategy + Good organization skills and follow up + Good communication skills + Construction / Agriculture / Landscaping Industry knowledge and/or customer segment intimacy is a plus + Product knowledge is a plus + Fluent in French and English + Results oriented + Flexible, stress resistant, problem solution oriented + Good knowledge and use of Power point and excel of MS Office + Prerequisite Training Course: Basic product (machine & attachment) concept At Bobcat, we support equal opportunities, value diversity of skills, perspectives and cultures and encourage applications from candidates from all backgrounds.
