ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
In the Sales Team for our European Distributor Markets (EDM), we are responsible for our Prestige and Consumer Beauty business in > 40 countries in the EMEA region. Furthermore, we manage some of the biggest and fastest growing e-com retailers in Europe as well as some newcomers in the Beauty category. We are a dynamic and international team of highly motivated salespeople and together with our colleagues from the broader EDM organization we are shaping the future of our brands in markets with > 300 M consumers. We do this in close collaboration with our distributor and retail partners, and we cover a wide range of different business models.
THE ROLE
Coty is looking for a highly motivated Distributor Sales Intern to join our Europe Distributor Markets Sales team, based in Amsterdam. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, international environment and contribute to the success of our distributor region. As an intern, you will work alongside an experienced team of Sales Managers to support business development in line with strategic goals. You will play a key role in tracking inventories, analyzing trade plans, and strengthening collaboration with our partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze forecasts, sales, and inventory levels across the region
• Conduct in-depth analysis of trade plans and identify budget optimization opportunities
• Assist in developing business strategies and identifying new market opportunities
• Monitor and optimize product assortment
• Support day-to-day account management tasks
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Passion for sales performance
• HBO/WO Student (Bachelor/Master), for this internship it is important you remain enrolled with your university during the whole internship
• HBO/WO Student (Bachelor/Master) in Business Administration or Marketing a plus
• Proactive and hands-on
• Analytical thinking and smart selling
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills especially Excel
• Does not shy away from responsibilities and is happy to provide added value
• Flexible and loves challenges
• Good communication skills and likes to work in a team
• Fluent in English is mandatory
• First experience in sales or the beauty industry is a plus
In this full-time internship (starting Septemeber 2025), you will report into the Sales Manager Scandinavia & Iceland who is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
