We are now seeking a Capital Equipment Distribution Manager to join our dynamic DMO organization in EMEA South. The location for this role can be Macon, France, Lisbon, Portugal, Madrid, Spain or Tampere, Finland.

You will report to the Director of Sales Capital, DMO EMEA South. The Distributor Manager (DM) is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with distributors to achieve Capital sales growth and market penetration within their assigned territories. This role requires frequent travel to the designated markets

 

What you'll do:

- Develop relevant Business Plan and follow up execution with distributor

- Drive distributor business process & capability development.

- Monitor sales figures, market share, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.

- Analyze the data to understand trends and recommend strategies to boost performance.

- Support distributor capability to sell independently Metso value-adding services

- Drive transactional activities & day to day work without being stuck in it

- Support distributors in commercial activity at customer events as required

- Drive, manage, and support distributor inventory levels (maximize end customer availability)

- Prioritize activities to get the best ROI

- Follow, manage, and drive the distributor development process, appointment & onboarding process, and keep the distributor opportunity funnel up to date in the Metso CRM tool.

- Identifying and acquiring new distributors in the markets is a significant aspect of the job. It includes research, outreach, and negotiating agreements.

- Fluent in English & French

- Analytical with solid business acumen, you can understand & interpret numbers & KPIs

- Strong negotiation skills to defend Metso's long-term interest; you are able to deal/negotiate with all levels at the distributor organization

- Result focus: you are doing your utmost to reach and overtake your targets

- Team player, you can work closely with your peers and distributors

- Positive open-minded, you welcome new ideas and initiatives to drive business development in a changing world

- Develop good skills for key tools used in distributor business (My.Metso, SFDC, Bruno, Power BI…).
