Job Responsibilities:

Distribution Requirements Specialist (DRS) Specialist ensures the efficient the execution of material movement to meet customer demands and serve as the first point of contact to work with Business Supply Chain, CSR, and Logistics Service Providers (LSP, eg. Warehouse, Freight Forwarders) on issue resolution, procedures, SAP Material Flow expertise, order material flow adjustments. As a leverage function in DuPont, DRS covers multiple different types of materials including Dangerous goods, Poisonous and Deleterious Substances, Temperature controlled materials, and etc.

 Overall

Follow product through warehousing and distribution. Serve as the first point of contact of daily operations, and escalate issues / incidents associated with warehouse and distribution.  Immediately take initial action in the event of an accident, resolve short term exceptions, and coordinate with Logistics Specialist to perform Root Cause Corrective Action analysis. Maintains integrated relationship with Logistics Service Providers and communicates any information required to prepare paperwork, etc. Monitor the appropriate metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and take appropriate corrective actions to address logistics related issues. Effectively interact with various functions – Business Supply Chain, Customer service, Logistics Specialist, Sales, Site Logistics, and External Logistics Service Providers (Warehouse, Freight Forwarder) to assist in resolution of issues related to shipping or port upsets, carrier and freight forwarder performance issues (escalating/alerting), paperwork issues, transportation asset availability issues (escalating/alerting) etc.

Warehousing and Distribution

Performs Goods Receipt, ensuring Warehouse performs unloading and goods receiving of physical goods inventory matching with SAP system on timely basis or as per SOP.  Performs Goods Issue, after physical goods picked up or left the warehouse in accordance with the internal control policy. Working closely with customer service and freight forwarders. Perform monthly inventory reconciliation and periodical physical count to ensure inventory accuracy.  Work with related parties on inventory variance root cause investigation and put corrective action in place.  Perform waste disposal and inventory write offs from system as per approval from Supply Chain.  Interact with warehouse for appropriate packaging/repackaging/labelling for meeting regulations / business needs. Participate (as need) and follow up on actions based on exceptions discussed and decisions made from Decision Centers and/or coordinate response to short term actions to adjust the material movement execution plan.

Import and Export

Effectively interact with other functions – Supply Chain Planner, Customer Service, Logistics Specialist, Operations(warehouse), Sales, Corporate logistics, Site logistics, External warehouse contractors, and Service providers (Freight Forwarders and carriers) to assist in resolution of issues related to shipping or port upsets, carrier and freight forwarder performance issues, order placement/paperwork issues, transportation asset availability issues, verifying services of vendor for payment process/issue etc.  Manages and coordinates Import / Export orders, working with Supply Chain Planner and Customer service, on deliveries based on lead times and supply status in the warehouse. Execute processes and manage/review/cross-check documentation required for product delivery and product transfers including import/export activities and customs clearance. Interact with Product Stewardship &Regulations and International Trade Service & Governance to make sure fully compliant with Import / Export regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or above preferably in supply chain or international trade. 3-5 years experiences in Customer Service or Supply Chain and SAP competency role or equivalent are preferred.Familiar with SAP ERP SystemProactive and being able to work under pressure.Well organized and good documentation skillsGood command in English speaking and writing preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
