Distribution Requirement Planning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the planning and execution of planned STO’s (stock transfer orders), ensuring they align with regional requirements and meet business needs. This role involves collaborating with various teams, developing deployment strategies, managing resources, and monitoring progress to ensure successful and timely deployments.
Responsibilities: The DRP has overall accountability for ensuring the planned Stock transport Order (STO) volume is executed each month for the sending region / area he is responsible for.Leading a team of DRP’s, for import and export materials. The DRP Team Lead works cross functionally to accomplish this – leading team meetings and managing one on ones. Key contacts within S&OP are the sending/receiving region Production Schedulers and Supply Planners and DRPs. The DRP Team Lead will periodically analyze STO data and work with the respective teams to improve processes and track/report KPIs. The DRP Team Lead will attend necessary meetings, cascading important information back to team and ensuring adherence to processes/procedures. The DRP Team Lead will monitor and identify issues with STO’s/processes and follow up with respective teams’ supervisors to collaborate and improve upon processes. (Import/Export DRP function) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Mgmt., Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.7 plus years of related experience in a manufacturing operation and or supply chain planning role, with minimum 2 years’ experience managing/supervising direct reports. 4 years of Finite Scheduling experience (E.g.: Combination of raw material, Supply planning, Purchasing, Logistics (finished goods), and execution).Experience with SAP MRP Scheduling preferred.APICS certification preferred.Experience w/ advanced planning / scheduling solutions preferred (e.g., JDA/Blue Yonder).Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills required.Celanese is a global leader in chemistry, producing specialty material solutions used across most major industries and consumer applications.
