Purpose of Role: The Distribution Person is responsible for performing all distribution center functions, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control, in an accurate, timely, safe, and cost-efficient manner. They should continuously be promoting and maintaining a flexible, cooperative, team oriented, and customer focused attitude within and between departments. Regular and reliable attendance is key to performance of this job.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Organization: Load/unload trucks, inside and outside, using pallet jacks, powered industrial trucks or overhead jib cranes and locate/pull part of various sizes and materials to fill machining, assembly, and customer orders.Shipping/Receiving Tasks: Properly prepare product being shipped - whether packaged in box, on a skid, or in a crate - based on size, bulk, and quantity, keeping in mind safety, weight, size, potential damage, and customer domestic/export requirementsMaintain Documentation: Accurately perform all paperwork/data entry functions associated with shipping/receiving/material handling proceduresInventory Control: Assist with inventory and perform weekly inventory cycle counts as neededSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environmentForklift experienceSAP experience preferred
