Directs Material Handlers to obtain the desired results and achieve departmental goals by coordinating resources, working with the Supervisor on group related issues, and helps develop and implement plans. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans tasks and solutions. Participates in cycle count inventory actives, (e.g. Root cause analysis on discrepancies). Uses good judgment / knowledge when making decisions on how to approach the ever-changing workload. Creates and updates work schedules/assignments, (e.g. assigned parts lists, Over time schedules,). Participates in employee training and development. **What You'll Do** + Developsteamofmaterialhandlersbysecuringappropriatetraining, schedulesanddistributes work assignments, monitorsemployeesintheirdailytasks, andprovidedirectiontoemployeestoachieveunitordepartmentalgoals. Assistsgroupmembersinproblemsolving, troubleshootingandthehandlingofuniquesituations. Help withcoordinationofexpediteonPriorityPackagesforsamedaydelivery. + OverseetheReceivingprocessofincomingpackages. Receives, verifies (qtys), andcontrolsproductfrominventoryintheeventof a NCMR. + Actsasliaisonandrepresentativeforallmaterialstores/ warehouseareas, withmanufacturingand support groupssuchasengineering, technicians, quality control andmanagement. ​ **Required Qualifications** + High School Diploma / GEDan equivalentcombinationofeducationand work experience + Minimum 6 years + Abilitytoroutinelyuseof Microsoft office (word, excel, andoutlook). + Workingknowledgeof SAP inventorysystem. + Will performtasksin a qualitysystemenvironmentwhichcanresultinnoncompliancewithgovernmentalregulations. + Appliesextensiveknowledgeofbusinessconcepts, proceduresandpracticesand a completeunderstandingoffundamentalsin a functionalarea. + Maydesign, develop, ormodifyarea-specificprocessesorprocedures. + Essentialinterpersonalskillsincludetheabilitytocommunicateeffectivelyacrossmanyfunctionalareasandtointeractproductivelywithcustomers. + A fork-liftlicenseisrequiredtoperformwarehousedutieswhenneeded. + Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills; andstrong PC skills. + Performsspecializedassignmentsusuallyinthenatureofprojects, requiringworkingindependently. Maintainsconfidentialityinhandlingsensitiveinformationordocuments. + Mustbeabletolift 50 pounds, work a pallet jack andbetrainedon a forklift. + Multitask, in a quicklychangingenvironment, withlittleornolossinproductivity. + Interface withvarious systems, electronicdevices, computers, andsoftwaretohelpgeneratereports, andperformotherdailytasks. + Needstobeself-motivated, ableto work independently, withlittleornodirection. The base pay for this position is $20.10 – $40.20 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
