Job Description This person will be responsible for conducting analyses to develop electrical design options or recommendations, and to assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications.    Overhead and underground distribution line design, preparation of cost estimates, specifications, staking sheets, construction units review and development    Assist with distribution planning, distribution modeling, distribution coordination, or distribution line design tasks as required.    Complete written reports and routine engineering assignments requiring application of industry standard techniques and procedures.    May work independently on small tasks and may assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects.   Preferred Qualifications   Bachelor's degree in Engineering, NOT needed   Experienced with PLS-CADD power line design software Required Qualifications   Knowledge of AutoCAD   Electric utility experience   Knowledge of Electrical Distribution   2-5 years of related experience   Computer skills in Microsoft Office   Good communication skills   An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture Local to Austin - hybrid job model We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
