Distribution design Engineering I- Associate Distribution Engineer
**_Open/Additional Info_** What Sets You Apart (Background Requirements): • Mid-Level: 2+ years of relevant work experience performing electric distribution design engineering either in a consulting environment for electric utilities or working directly at an electric utility; Senior- Level: 4+ years of relevant experience • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited institution will be preferred, but relevant experience can be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree • Experience with the execution of distribution projects from kickoff through design approved, including Customer interaction and Process documentation • Experience with utility reliability projects • Ability to demonstrate proficiency with the NESC • Ability to utilize a personal vehicle, as some customer-related travel could be anticipated (Job-related travel will be reimbursed at IRS-approved rates) • Willingness to perform both field and office work; Ability to work in outdoor environments on occasion; The role may require customer-site visits to collect field data that will assist in developing work packages • Candidates should possess valid U.S. driver's license, as some local or regional travel is expected Nice to Haves: • Previous QAQC experience • Experience providing estimated costs, development of a BOM, calculating the CIAC • Experience with design tools such as Pole Foreman, O-Calc, Spida-Calc • Experience with the Work Management System CREWS • 1 year or more of Relevant management or leadership experience • Relevant experience with the utility FirstEnergy, or its' subsidiaries **Position Details:** + Pay Rate / Range: $46.12 _The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions._ This program requires US Citizenship + Benefits (Regular, Full Time Employees): 1.
