At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking an individual with exceptional work behavior and motivation to join our team as a Distribution Coordinator Coordinator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial part in our world-class outbound shipping operations to assist in ensuring detailed execution of inbound domestic shipments.
Responsibilities:Verification and confirmation of parts matching with pick lists, preparation of packing lists, commercial invoices, master bills of lading and other compliance documentation.Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.Resolve any shipping-related issues or delays and communicate updates to relevant team members.Communicate and engage with the team and warehouse leadership through daily management board meetings, making sure they are aware of business activities and understanding and addressing operational challenges that arise.Support and maintain accurate metrics for the teamYou will communicate with internal customers about documentation, shipping schedule, and work with them to resolve relevant issues. Invoicing and record-keeping will also be among your duties.Ensure domestic and international shipments are following current DEA regulatory standards.Use warehouse ERP systems (MainFrame & OMS to manage shipping activities, along with dangerous goods documentation systems to generate international commercial invoicesWork as a unified partner with all areas of the distribution center to address outbound shipmentsRequirements:2+ years of shown experience in handling shipping duties and document preparation for domestic outbound orders.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with a strong focus on safety and quality.Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in all functions of this position.Ability to work in a timely manner and maintain strong attendance performance.Familiarity with DEA regulatory standards and shipping compliance is highly desirable.Proficiency in using a warehouse ERP system is preferred.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve shipping-related issues efficiently.Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with all teams in the distribution center.What sets this opportunity apart is the chance to work with a leading company in the industry, Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.
