Description Robert Half is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Entry-Level Dispatcher to coordinate and optimize scheduling within our client’s operations. The ideal candidate is a reliable multitasker with excellent communication skills, capable of managing tight deadlines and resolving real-time challenges. Key Responsibilities + Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of personnel, vehicles, or equipment to various locations based on client or operational needs. + Monitor routes, adjust schedules for delays, and update relevant parties on changes. + Serve as a main point of contact for field staff, providing guidance and immediate support for any issues that arise during operations. + Maintain accurate records of completed assignments, schedules, and operational data. + Support communication between drivers, field employees, and management to ensure smooth operations. + Handle incoming calls or emails related to dispatch tasks professionally and efficiently. + Use dispatch software and tools to optimize scheduling and routing. + Assist with administrative tasks, such as compiling daily or weekly operations reports. Requirements + No prior dispatching experience is required, but 1+ years of experience in customer service, logistics, or a related field is a plus. + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. + Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail. + Ability to remain calm and think clearly in high-pressure situations. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn dispatch management software. + High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in Logistics or Business Administration is a plus.
