**Description** **General Summary** Receives, records and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers’ request for service on articles or utilities purchased from wholesale or retail establishments or utility company. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Answers all incoming calls and keeps proper record of date and time received. + Records information, such as name, address, or service to be rendered from customer. + Records information such as name, supervisor, time of call out in accordance with callout guidelines, and assigned shift for employees calling out. + Sends timely formal communication to management team of call outs. + Assists managers with scheduling special projects requested by customer. + Assists Project Manager with calls or writing the customer to insure satisfactory performance of service. + Keeps record of service calls and and closes out work orders in government database. + May dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to employees and other departments, using radio telephone equipment. + Other duties as assigned. **Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:** + Minimum of one (1) year experience in a dispatch or similar customer service center position. + Strong written and oral communication skills in English. + Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction and passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers. + Strong decision making and analytical skills. + Strong work ethic and team player mentality. **Work Environment** + Be able to sit for extended period of time. + Be able to lift 25 lbs. + Must be able to pass a local background check and have the ability to obtain and maintain NAC/LAC clearance after hire. _This job description is subject to change by the employer as the needs of the employer and requirements of the job change._ **We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing.** Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
