Job Description
Join a dynamic team of 10 professionals working from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. In this role, you will be responsible for answering inbound calls from the Sales Team and Brokers, coordinating orders, dispatching trucks from the yard, and managing orders from two trucking companies. You will also determine the weights of materials for trucks entering and leaving the yard.
Responsibilities
Answer inbound calls from the Sales Team and Brokers to coordinate orders.Dispatch trucks from the yard and manage orders from trucking companies.Determine the weights of materials for trucks entering and exiting the yard.Handle approximately 10 calls and coordinate 4 to 15 trucks daily.Essential Skills
2-3 years of dispatching experience.Experience in ordering shipments or working in the shipping department.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience in handling inbound calls.Strong math skills for determining weights of materials.Customer service skills.Knowledge of transportation and third-party logistics.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience dealing with freight brokers, sales teams, and trucking companies.Ability to handle weight specifications for inbound and outbound trucks.Work Environment
Work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with no overtime required. The facility houses a team of 10 individuals, and you will report to two managers. The role offers long-term stability, with most employees having been with the company for over 10 years. This position provides valuable railyard experience transferable to major railyards in the future. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in company stock shares.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
