Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to ensure that our customers receive the best service experience possible, from their initial phone call through to the completion of their service call. The ideal candidate will maintain excellent communication and relationships with our technicians through understanding and empathy.
ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming service requests for HVAC service.Create work orders and schedule calls.Review after-hours calls, contacting and scheduling appropriately.Respond to online inquiries.Monitor the info email for service requests and other requests, passing them along to the appropriate person.Dispatch technicians, ensuring the right technician is assigned to the appropriate job.Perform follow-up calls as needed.Distribute after-action items needed to the right person, such as notifying about warranty calls or invoicing needs.Review and schedule commercial and residential maintenance as needed, ensuring obligations to customers are fulfilled.Other duties as assigned by management.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in dispatching for a services-based company, preferably within a trades company.Excellent customer service and phone skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.Additional Skills & QualificationsPositive communication with managers, coworkers, and customers.Ability to maximize the schedule to meet customer needs and enhance company profitability.Focus on the HVAC side of the business.Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and requires the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The role involves coordinating between customers, technicians, and various departments to ensure efficient service delivery. Professional attire is expected.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
