Description We are looking for a dedicated and organized Dispatcher to join our team in Rochester, New York. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to efficient operations by coordinating logistics and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing dispatching tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and oversee dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy. • Utilize computer-aided dispatch systems to manage scheduling and workflow. • Monitor and track work orders to ensure accuracy and completion within deadlines. • Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline logistics processes. • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all dispatch activities. • Provide administrative support, including data entry and reporting. • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. • Use Office 365 tools effectively for communication and organizational purposes. • Communicate effectively with drivers and field personnel to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Proven experience in dispatching or a related field. • Strong customer service skills, preferably in a call center environment. • Proficiency in computer-aided dispatch systems and logistics coordination. • Ability to manage work orders and track progress efficiently. • Familiarity with Office 365 for administrative tasks and communication. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
