Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily scheduling and dispatching of all bus routes
Monitor on-time performance and resolve routing issues
Serve as the main communication liaison with key clients and contracted partners
Coach and counsel drivers and monitors to support safety and service standards
Handle incoming phone and radio traffic, including customer and driver inquiries
Address scheduling concerns and escalate issues to the Operations Supervisor or Contract Manager as needed
Support charter reservations, billing, and/or payroll tasks when necessary
Assist with special projects and provide backup driver coverage or clerical support as needed
Contribute to the overall success of day-to-day terminal operations
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
3–5 years of experience in dispatch, terminal operations, or a related transportation role
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 21 years of age or older
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency with computers and radio dispatch systems
Ability to perform well under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines
Previous experience working with drivers, routes, or scheduling is highly desirable
Must have a valid CDL Class B – or be willing to obtain one within 90 days of hire
