Transdev in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a Dispatch Manager. Our Lead Dispatcher ensures the Dispatch team fills all the routes and provides Operators with timely instructions and responses. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Key Responsibilities: Oversee road service and trip performance measures, i.e. route start time, on-time performance, incidentsRespond to customer questions and concerns about no shows, cancellations, and missed trips.Manage vehicle operator emergency situations & escalated calls.Supervise staff on weekends and evenings.Manage department reports and other communication tools.Support the Dispatch Supervisor in training new employees.Other duties as required.Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. Physical Requirements: Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
