Fright Fest Scare-Actor $17.00/HR

Job Description: Dying for a great job? Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is seeking high-energy performers for our scariest role at the park – Fright Fest Actors. Performers will engage and entertain park guests through a variety of frights and scares in haunted attractions and scare zones.

 

Fright Fest Attraction Gatekeeper $16.50/HR

Job Description: Assist in the thrill of Fright Fest by greeting, directing, and maintaining line control throughout all of the Fright Fest Attractions.

 

SFX Make-Up Artist (18+) - $18.50/HR

Job Description: This position is responsible for the creation and design of characters through make-up application and face painting. A professional portfolio may be requested. Will be required to demonstrate ability if selected for an interview.

 

Seamstress (18+) $19/HR

Job Description: To create and maintain all costumes and accessories in regards to Costume Characters, shows, special events. This Position is directly responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness and function of all wardrobe and costumes for the Entertainment Department.

 

Auditions and Interviews

After an application has been submitted, eligible candidates will be contacted with a date for a live audition or Interview at the park. Further instructions/directions will be sent out via email.  

 

How You Will Do It: Maintain the highest standards of safety Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic Keeping your work location and the park clean and sanitary for all guests and team members Be a reliable member of the team. This includes always arriving to work on time and for your scheduled shift

What You Will Need:

Must be at least 16 years old Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods in varied weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain Must be able to perform in an enclosed costume, having limited sight lines Height and weight requirements for proper fit in costumes Have a good attitude, good appearance, and participate as a member of the team Able to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays Must be available for training in late August and early September Must have availability Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from September-October Must be available on Halloween Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
