Description We are looking for a skilled Disbursements Analyst to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. In this role, you will handle vessel documentation and contracts, ensuring accuracy for billing and invoicing purposes. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your attention to detail, decision-making skills, and advanced Excel capabilities in a dynamic industry. Responsibilities: • Review and verify vessel documents and contracts for billing accuracy. • Input and upload invoicing data into company systems, ensuring completeness. • Investigate discrepancies or missing information in billing records and resolve issues promptly. • Maintain and organize records related to accounts receivable and disbursements. • Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze and manage financial data effectively. • Collaborate with team members to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency. • Prepare accurate and timely reports related to disbursements and billing. • Use tools like SharePoint, QuickBooks, and Outlook to manage workflows and communications. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while managing disbursement activities. Requirements • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and formulas. • Familiarity with billing systems, accounts receivable processes, and related software. • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Experience with tools such as SharePoint, QuickBooks Pro, Outlook, and Word. • Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial documentation. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics is preferred. • Data entry skills with a minimum speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour.
