**Come join our amazing team and work from home!** The Disbursement Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and processing of all incoming invoices for loan level disbursements, stop pay/void requests, payoff disbursements, and processing, posting and applying payments for residential mortgage accounts and prepare for deposit. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $20.00-$23.00 an hour. **What you'll do:** + Disburse checks and wires/wire transfers, timely, to appropriate parties following company cash policies and procedures. + Process invoices for payment for all third-party recoverable checks, non-recoverable items on a transaction level with appropriate approvals. + Serve as secondary support for recording and process all recording refunds, as applicable. + Communicate with an appropriate business unit, as needed. (I.e. recoverable and non-recoverable losses, payoff shortages, etc.) + Reconcile all disbursements daily. + Process all stop payment requests and re-issue as applicable. + Monitor outstanding checks to ensure they are processed in timely manner + Monitor trial balances for each escrow account to ensure positive balance or zero account to be in compliance with state guidelines. + Monitor exception reports to identify anomalies and take the appropriate action or communications. + Reconcile returned non-negotiated checks at a file level. **What you'll need** : + High School diploma or equivalent work experience. + Two years’ experience banking or similar industry experience. **Our Company:** Vylla Title, LLC is part of The Carrington Companies.
