Course: Disaster Recovery

This course addresses disaster recovery and the core capabilities required to promote comprehensive recovery within communities impacted by disaster. Students examine issues related to restoring infrastructure, businesses and the economy, and human and environmental health.

What You Will Do:

Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroomAdhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframesRespond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframesProvide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

Preferred: Doctorate in a related discipline. If Doctorate is not in a business discipline a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) required. Minimum: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Masters in a business discipline AND 5 or more years of experience related to disaster response and recovery.
