Commercial Cleaning Services (CCS) a Black & McDonald company, and is currently seeking a Director of Operations for Western Canada to join our executive team. This leadership opportunity will play a pivotal role leading a talented team of service professionals and executing our business growth plan in Western Canada.

What we Offer Base salary of $135,000 - $150,000 Merit based pay Workplace benefit planCompany vehicleHybrid and remote work options Job Duties Manage a team of regional and site level supervisors and managers responsible for executing safe, quality, outcomes-based cleaning programs at multiple client facilitiesEnsure all services are delivered in accordance with Company and Industry policies, standards and certificationsIdentify and pursue opportunities for new business by attending facility tours, preparing detailed staffing and pricing proposals and participation in sales presentationsEstablish and maintain excellent relationships with clients, employees, colleagues, vendors, sub-contractors, trade associations, and all stakeholdersPrepare reports for clients to demonstrate consistent quality services are delivered in accordance with Service Level Agreements and KPIsOversee process improvement initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency and effectivenessProvide leadership to cross-functional teams in Human Resources, Business Development, Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Procurement and Strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while supporting Client Service and Operations TeamsManage budgets for client sites within the region and overall territory Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and accountabilityMonitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making8+ years’ experience in a senior leadership role in the service sector, preferably in the Facility Management/Maintenance or a related Industry SectorStrong knowledge of best practices in the cleaning industry including cleaning processes, environmentally sustainable products, tools, equipment and machineryPassionate champion of Continuous Improvement, ESG and InnovationDemonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies and project management principlesExceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing cross-functional teamsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders Candidate Profile Strong verbal and written communication skillsFlexibility to travel to client locations Positive, friendly mindset and ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholdersG Class Driver’s LicenceCommercial Cleaning Services recognizes that strength as an organization comes from inclusion and diversity.
