Director of Talent Acquisition – India
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment efforts in India. The ideal candidate will be a relationship builder, well-versed in the Indian talent landscape, and possess a strong network within the IT services sector—especially in Mainframe and Infrastructure domains. They will be passionate about bringing great talent into a growth stage organization and able to understand and anticipate the complexities of hiring at scale. This is a critical role for Ensono’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent for both niche and large-scale hiring needs in India.Build and maintain strong relationships with global business leaders, hiring managers, and external partners to understand workforce needs and deliver effective recruitment solutions.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing recruitment team, fostering a culture of excellence, strong TA partnership based on trust and communication with the business, and continuous improvement.Leverage deep knowledge of the Indian talent market to proactively source, engage, and pipeline candidates for current and future needs.Collaborate on employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice.Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process at scale.Utilize data-driven insights to optimize recruitment processes, measure success, and report on key metrics.Collaborate with global talent acquisition teams to share best practices and support cross-border hiring as opportunities arise.Manage searches within the APAC region as needed.Stay abreast of industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and regulatory changes impacting talent acquisition in India and APAC.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the IT services industry.Demonstrated success in both niche and high-volume hiring, ideally with experience in Mainframe or Infrastructure recruitment.Deep understanding of the Indian talent market, with a robust professional network and proven ability to attract top talent.Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Experience working in a global or regional capacity, supporting APAC recruitment is a plus.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in a managed services or consulting environment.Exposure to digital transformation, cloud, or mainframe modernization projects.Familiarity with recruitment technologies and employer branding strategies.
