This director will run the office of the CIO with planning and test execution. This director will have a team of delivery managers (scrum masters) and a Sr Software Delivery Manager that will have all of the testing resources reporting to them. The role will be responsible for planning of upcoming work, Agile SDLC process and changes and the testing COE/COP. This person will drive consistency to the teams on how we run and plan projects as well as consistency with testing processes and dashboard.

Duties and Responsibilities

Works under the CIO and oversee the planning and test execution of software applications from inception to productionWorks with Business teams to attain the business requirements for software applications and develop epics, features and user stories in Dev Ops, as well as Level of Effort (LOE) responsesWorks with the delivery management team on projects to define scope, milestones, deliverables and staffing needsCoordinates and collaborates with cross functional teams in Project Management, Business Analysis, QA and Development for alignment, issue resolution and product deliveryManages scrums on the various development projects, both onsite in offices, as well as remotelyTravels to various PCG offices and client sites, as needed, to support the portfolioDevelops technical RFP responses as requestedIdentifies areas of need and implement successful strategies for improvementEstablishes goals for development, IT and the organizationCommunicates project status updates to senior management and key stakeholders

Required Skills

Strong verbal and interactional skillsIn-depth and recent hands-on use Agile methodologies.Strong understanding with Microsoft and Web TechnologiesKnowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Dev OpsExperience in running testing teamsStrong knowledge of utilizing AGILE and adhering to the SDLC.Excellent written and oral communication skillsComfortable in a fast paced and dynamic environmentDetail oriented and self-motivatedExcellent process planning, time management, communication, decision making, presentation, organization and interpersonal skillsAbility to interact with C-Level executives and ownersAbility to deliver high quality releases on schedule and handling the demands of a fast growing team with multiple, simultaneous released projects

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Advanced Degree a plus3 years managing a planning or testing teams.

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.  As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role below. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $176,000-$200,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
