We currently have an exciting opportunity as Director Site Management Country Head to work in our Site Management (multi-sponsor) team in Poland.
In this role you will lead and manage a team of clinical operations staff and you will be responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational alignment with senior leadership priorities.
You will drive regional initiatives, oversee performance, and ensure the successful delivery of clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Manage and support clinical staff in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.Oversee performance management, professional development, and employee relations.Lead recruitment and retention efforts in collaboration with senior management.Act as a mentor and coach to develop future leaders within the team.Operational Oversight
Develop and implement strategic plans for resource allocation and team structure.Ensure effective onboarding, training, and SOP compliance across the region.Monitor and evaluate workload, quality, and budget metrics to drive performance improvements.Project & Financial Management
Collaborate with project leadership to address operational challenges and deliver high-quality outcomes.Review and manage clinical study budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets.Participate in project and clinical reviews to ensure delivery excellence.Strategic Initiatives
Lead or contribute to global and regional process improvement and quality initiatives.Act as a liaison with clients and sponsors, representing the organization in key discussions.Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline required; advanced degree preferred.Experience:
Minimum 12 years of clinical research experience, including leadership roles in an multinational company environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.Proven ability to manage clinical operations budgets and financial tracking.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Fluent language skills in Polish and English (written and verbal); additional languages a plus.IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
