Job Summary
The primary point of contact and relationship manager for large and medium sized payer accounts. Manages multiple relationships, negotiates and executes closure with aggressive timelines to ensure strategic alignment and maximum revenue. Assumes leadership role in corporate-wide management of the negotiation, execution, coordination and implementation of risk and fee-for-service arrangements for facility, physician and ancillary agreements with third party payers, both wholesale and retail. Must have the ability to provide effective strategic, analytical, communication and organizational skills within a matrix environment.

Qualifications
+ Education: Master's degree in business or healthcare related field, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum three to five years in management and/or account management, sales/marketing, business development, functional/start-up operations, managed care contracting and negotiation within multiple areas of the healthcare industry, required.
+ Additional Skills (required): Relationship management, analytical and problem solving, sales marketing, time management, project management and organizational. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high energy level. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple operational issues and projects simultaneously. Willingness to work varied hours. Ability to be a self-starter, team player, work in matrix environment, contribute to a positive working environment and demonstrate initiative, ownership and accountability. Knowledge of all aspects of risk and non-risk contracting, managed care and the healthcare environment as it relates to physicians, medical group practice, PHO’s, IPA’s, hospitals, ancillary services and insurance/managed care sales, regional and statewide managed care environment.
