Join our team and start your journey today! **We're looking for a leader who turns data into insight—and insight into action—while inspiring teams along the way!** As **Director Revenue Operations** , based in **Aachen, Germany** , you'll be a key driver of our regional commercial strategy, responsible for turning high-level plans into real-world results. This director-level role leads critical workstreams including quota allocation, customer segmentation, compensation planning, team deployment, and the overall commercial excellence journey. You’ll report to the Regional President with functional guidance from the VP of Revenue Operations and play a central role in shaping how we go to market across the region. **Key Responsibilities of the role:** + Own the regional execution of Copeland’s Revenue Operations strategic initiatives. + Lead a team of operational resources to execute the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy through insights, timely reports, and actionable dashboards. + Ensure that resource deployment (headcount by role), quota allocation, customer segmentation, and compensation administration align with strategy and market best practices. + Collaborate with Marketing to develop and tailor value propositions by customer segment. + Create and enforce a governance structure to ensure Revenue Operations processes are followed. + Identify sales process gaps and improvement opportunities, prioritizing changes against other strategic initiatives. + Govern and execute capacity/headcount planning and territory design. + Oversee the quota setting process, quota allocation, and sales compensation administration to ensure fairness and consistency. + Partner with the Total Rewards Team to support the annual sales compensation design process. + Establish a methodology and cadence to reassess strategies and initiatives, incorporating feedback from teams and customers to continuously improve execution. **Required Qualifications and Experience:** + Proven experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or Commercial Excellence. + Experience working in industrial manufacturing, HVAC, or similar B2B environments. + Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage GTM execution, quota setting, and resource planning. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working with data dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics. + Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). + Fluency in English (written and verbal); capable of working in a global matrix environment. + Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Economics, or related field. **Preferred Qualifications and Experience:** + Experience leading Revenue or Commercial Operations teams in a regional or multi-country setting (ideally within Europe). + Strong understanding of sales compensation design, customer segmentation, and territory planning. + Background in process improvement, change management, or sales enablement initiatives. + MBA or relevant postgraduate degree.
