Director Revenue Management

This position is with Interval International, Inc., an operating business of Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation (“MVW” or “the Company”). The Company has over 120 vacation ownership resorts and approximately 700,000 owner families in a diverse portfolio that includes some of the most iconic vacation ownership brands. **Job Summary** + Leads the development and ongoing administration of a sophisticated revenue management strategy designed to maximize revenue and sales of inventory while protecting existing distribution channels (Membership & Developers). + Works closely with the senior leadership team ensuring that pricing strategies optimize yields and minimize burn. + Ensures that all related policies conform to applicable SOX guidelines. **Expected Contributions** + Develops flexible, dynamic, and successful strategies for pricing of Interval inventory and accurately forecasts results. + Develops, interprets, and implements complex pricing and inventory management actions to maximize revenue yield within prevailing market conditions. + Creates, maintains, and distributes inventory forecast reports to internal (and external, as applicable) contacts. + Assists with the development of reliable systems to support pricing strategies and results forecasting. + Analyzes results of pricing strategies, systems, and forecasts to ensure that goals are achieved. + Compiles and analyzes key performance metrics, develops and initiates solutions to minimize exposure to revenue risks and maximize revenue potential. + Assists in development and ongoing management of distribution channels. + Performs ongoing market analysis and segmentation. + Forecasts inventory demands by purchaser type and distribution channel and ensures appropriate allocation (volumes and timing) among these channels to optimize utilization rates and revenues. + Performs other related duties as required. **Candidate Profile** **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Revenue Management, Economics, or Optimization-related fields required. **Work Experience** + Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in Revenue Management, Inventory Management, or Financial Statistical Analysis within the hospitality industry (preferably with one of the larger chains that operates multiple brands targeted at different segments). + Must be comfortable working with data and posses strong skill sets in MS Excel. Experience in Access, Power BI, SQL and VBA is a plus. + Must possess a minimum two (2) years of work experience in Revenue Management, Inventory Management or Financial Statistical Analysis within hospitality industry (preferably with one of the larger chains that operates multiple brands targeted at different segments). + At least three years of experience managing a team of direct reports. + Experience in Hotel Management, Vacation Ownership, Timeshare Exchange, or Hospitality preferred. + Must possess ability to develop, manage and communicate trend forecasts based upon multiple data sets. + Must possess fundamental working knowledge of Revenue Management strategies for the hospitality industry, and experience with multiple inventory distribution channels. + Must possess a clear understanding of the complexities of inventory demand balancing. **Skills and Attributes** + Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and communicate trend forecasts based on multiple data sets. + Extensive knowledge of Revenue Management strategies for the hospitality industry, with experience in managing multiple inventory distribution channels. + In-depth understanding of the complexities of inventory demand balancing. + Proficiency in working with data and revenue management systems, including strong skills in MS Excel, Access, Power BI, SQL, VBA, and other data analytics tools. + Proven analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights. + Effective communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation abilities, capable of presenting complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner. + Strong time management skills, with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines. + Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills. + Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and across departments. + Strong self-efficacy and locus of control, demonstrating confidence to achieve goals and taking responsibility for outcomes. + Strategic mindset with proven problem-solving abilities to identify revenue opportunities and address challenges. + Knowledge of the vacation ownership industry specific regulations, market dynamics, and pricing strategies. + Proven leadership, management, and communication skills creating a work environment where associates are empowered and aligned to action and purpose. + Demonstrated capacity to guide senior leaders' decision making to achieve beneficial business results. + Skilled in decision-making and conflict resolution in a fast paced, continuously changing, customer focused environment. + Passion for strategic involvement in the creation and execution of departmental and company-wide goals and objectives. + Understands how to manage in a culturally diverse work environment.
