Job Summary

\n

By working with key stakeholders across multiple functions within the Health System, this team member will work to develop relationships across the system in order to drive efficiencies and identify areas where sourcing could provide a strong benefit to the company.  The ability to manage multiple commodities through analytics and leadership, will be beneficial as this person launches new initiatives and ensures success of existing contracts. 

\n

Essential Functions of the Role

\n\n Communicate with cross-functional teams to identify potential sourcing projects and build stakeholder collaboration.\nDevelops and implements effective sourcing strategies. \nPrioritizes projects for assigned commodities, leads strategy development, manages RFI and RFP processes, leads negotiations and ensures contract completion. \n Comfortable working in high pressure situations with tight deadlines\n Experienced in communication with executive level employees\nLead a team consisting of a Sourcing Manager\n Must have experience in change management with a large organization\nProvides ongoing communication to Supply Chain leadership and stakeholders on activities and status. \nDevelops vendor management strategy and performance scorecard. \nMonitors and manages performance with support of Strategic Sourcing Director. \nPerforms other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner. \n\n

Key Success Factors

\n\n Exceptional relationship building, interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.\nExperienced in managing Indirect Spend and Contracting with preferred emphasis on Construction, Hospitality Services and Facilities Management\nExtensive experience in leading negotiations on highly complex service agreements is a must\nStrong analytical skills with ability to comb through large data sets to perform accurate feedback on financials\nMust possess ability to think strategically and translate implications of analyses into sourcing strategies. \nStrong knowledge of assigned commodities and materials management principles and practices.\nExperienced in developing and motivating cohort to improve effectiveness of team.\nMust be comfortable with conflict and willing to challenge conventional thinking, even from senior level management. \n\n

EDUCATION - Bachelor'sEXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience
