The Senior Manager/Director of Technology Incubation & Acceleration will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and technological advancement as part of our OneUS Innovation & Corporate Development team. This position will focus on enabling external innovation and partnering effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to successfully translate new technologies into products that solve unmet consumer needs. The ideal candidate will possess a tech-savvy entrepreneurial mindset, capable of advancing innovation opportunities using strategic vision, technical acumen and collaborative prowess.

 

 

Your ‘day to day’:

 

• Innovation Strategy Development: Develop and implement a technology incubation and acceleration roadmap for innovation platform(s), with a strong focus on addressing unmet consumer needs.

 

• Technology Identification and Evaluation: Lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies that have the potential to drive growth and competitive advantage for the company.

 

• External Partnership Management: Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with external innovators, startups, academic institutions, and technology hubs to source and integrate cutting-edge technologies.

 

• Incubation and Acceleration Programs: Manage incubation and acceleration programs that support the development and commercialization of new technologies, ensuring seamless integration into the company's operations.

 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Consumer Insights, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance, to ensure successful technology adoption and implementation into the product portfolio.

 

• Resource Allocation: Oversee the allocation of resources, including budget, personnel, and facilities, to support technology incubation and acceleration initiatives.

 

• Thought Leadership: Serve as a thought leader and advocate for technological innovation within the company, representing the organization at conferences, forums, and events.

 



Who we’re looking for:

 

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Technology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.

 

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology development, innovation management, or a related field, with a proven track record of successful technology incubation and acceleration.

 

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their applications in the FMCG or healthcare sector.

 

• Partnership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, including startups, research institutions, and technology providers.

 

• Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed organization.

 

• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

 

• Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and achieving business objectives.

Annual Base Salary Range: $181,500-$242,000
