Director Payments AcceptanceWhat does a successful Director Payments Acceptance do at Fiserv?
At Fiserv, the Director Payments Acceptance is pivotal in ensuring smooth compliance and operations within the Payments Acceptance Compliance team. This role primarily focuses on the MasterCard, Visa, and STAR Access Card Brands. The director collaborates with Card Brands and Fiserv Business & IT teams to update processing systems according to mandated changes, utilizing exceptional management skills for planning, project execution, and prioritizing in a dynamic environment.
What you will do:
Partner with internal and external representatives and management to resolve merchant or vendor issues, including direct merchant contact as needed.Develop long and short-range planning, adapting to a highly diversified, complex, and changing environment to identify and tackle priorities.Support projects from ideation to launch, including detailing requirements & test cases, delegating task ownership, anticipating problems, pursuing resolutions, and ensuring effective communication plans.Supervise various staff positions, either directly or indirectly.What you will need to have:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.8+ years of experience in operations management within the financial technology sector.8+ years of experience in managing large-scale programs with complex deliverables.Experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, Rocket/BlueZone (mainframe access tool).Proven ability to communicate effectively with leaders both internally and externally to Fiserv.What would be great to have:
Advanced degree (MBA or similar) in a relevant field.In-depth knowledge of the payments industry.Important info about this role:

$102,400.00-$137,500.00These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
