The opportunity : Director-NAT-PAS WKFA-CNS - PC - Workforce Advisory - Bangalore

Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence


Strategic Leadership: 
• Lead market mapping and business development to identify new opportunities in the NFS GCC space.
• Design and implement innovative consulting solutions for clients, focusing on HR and operational 
transformation.
• Drive thought leadership through white papers, articles, and practice branding initiatives.

Operational Excellence:
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring 100% client success and adherence to EY’s 
engagement lifecycle.
• Maintain financial and operational discipline, including risk management, invoicing, and compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with service lines and practices to deliver integrated solutions.
 
Team Management: 
• Lead and mentor a team of 45+ professionals, including managers.
• Foster a high-engagement culture, ensuring team motivation and professional growth.
• Champion people-centric leadership, aligning with EY’s values and ways of working.


Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification

The ideal candidate will come with around 10–12 years of consulting experience, preferably from a Big 
Four or similar consulting firms.
• Hands on knowledge of creating proposals, collaborating on large pitches, and engaging diverse 
stakeholders
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
• Cross-functional HR expertise (e.g., talent strategy, job architecture, employer branding).
• Ability to think strategically and translate big-picture ideas into actionable plans.
• Ability to design frameworks (e.g., job architectures, process flows) rather than just implement them.
• Curiosity & learnability: Willingness to explore new solutions, markets, and stay ahead of trends.
• Executive presence and exceptional communication skills.

Experience

The ideal candidate is a seasoned consulting professional with 10–12 years of experience, preferably from 
a Big Four or a similar firm, who can lead market mapping and business development in the NFS GCC 
space. They possess a strong track record in designing innovative, strategic HR and operational 
transformation solutions, while ensuring seamless project delivery and client success. This individual 
excels in cross-functional collaboration, financial and risk management, and drives thought leadership 
through content and branding initiatives. S/He must be a team player and should have the ability to 
develop and articulate insights and mentor the team in alignment with the organization’s vision.
